Looking forward to trying to spot the Quadrantids Meteor Shower

On the 3rd or 4th of January 2016, I will be trying to observe the Quadrantids Meteor Shower from my parents back paddock on both nights. I decided to mow around the back paddock so i will not be in patches of thistles this time (real fun).

Though i might not be able to see the Quadrantids Meteor Shower over Bathurst, As it is better observed in the Northern hemisphere, but i will still try anyway because i can not expect to get any meteor photos if I don't put any effort.

I did have fun taking photos of the Geminids meteor shower on the 13th-14th of December, so I think I have a bit of a idea what settings to use, though there are always room to experiment with the settings.

More information can be found here and here.

(note I am an Amateur astronomy photographer and i don't have much experience in Astronomy photography, I would go to other photographers first for advice on taking Astronomy photography.)

Anyway i will have fun photographing the stars on the 3rd and 4th of January 2015 and if i get any meteors that will make it all the more better.

Tafe for 2015

Tafe is over for 2015 and it has been a great year, learning more and more about photography as I learn to become a better photographer.

I found making my own website for my business as it  has made me think about how i present myself to the world. before i made my website I only had this blog.

My friendship with Chloe and Liz made the diploma of Photo imagery worth the Time and effort to travel to and from Orange. Without them I don't think i would have been able to have completed the course without them.

Well anyway It has been a great year for me which will hopefully lead to more opportunities in 2016 for my photography.
